INGREDIENTS
4 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 Kohlrabi peeled and cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 cup onion, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 cup carrots, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean hot pepper
taste)
Salt & pepper to taste
Sesame seeds to garnish

DIRECTIONS
- In a large sauté pan heat oil on medium-high.
- Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper.
- Add half of the chicken to pan and brown both sides. When the chicken is just cooked through, transfer to plate.
- Repeat with the other half of the chicken.
- Remove pan from heat.
- While the chicken is cooking, in a medium bowl mix together sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, gochujang, water, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Whisk until completely incorporated.
- Place saute pan back on medium-high heat and cook until soft and translucent.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and carrots. Stir constantly to keep carrots from getting too brown.
- Add your sugar/soy mixture. Turn the heat down to medium.
- Let the sauce reduce until thickened slightly.
- Toss in Kohlrabi noodles and cook until soft.
- Return chicken to the pan and stir together.
Serve family style with sesame seeds on top.
