This simple yet delicious recipe is the perfect addition to steak, chicken, and quinoa or other grains. They are also great on their own as a savory, side dish. Enjoy!

Mushrooms of choice
Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper
Butter
Lemon or brandy

DIRECTIONS
1. Slice the mushrooms 1/4” thick, or simply pull them apart.
2. In a large skillet, over medium high heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until shimmering.
3. Add the mushrooms and let them caramelize for 2 minutes.
4. Once they have some color, add salt and pepper to taste and a pat of butter.
5. Finish over low heat for 2 minutes and add a squeeze of fresh lemon or brandy.
