Farmer for a Day

Get ready for an unforgettable, hands-on farm adventure at Ashbourne Farms!

Our Farmer for a Day experience invites children across age groups to immerse themselves in the rhythm and wonder of farm life.

Guided by our Farm Leader, who brings over 25 years of agricultural education experience, your budding farmers will step into the role of a true Ashbourne Farms team member. At each station, our dedicated professionals won’t just show them what to do—they’ll explain why it matters. Together, we’ll gather and wash fresh eggs, feed and groom our friendly small animals, and harvest vibrant vegetables straight from the garden. It’s a morning filled with learning, discovery, and plenty of good old-fashioned farm fun.

Please dress your child in comfortable clothes that can handle a little dirt, and be sure they wear closed-toe shoes. We’re embracing the full farm experience, rain or shine!

For parents, a shaded area under the trees will be available if you'd like to relax nearby.
