We love a good Manhattan, and we’ve perfected this version, which features a smoked ice cube, as one of our signature Show Barn cocktails. If you find yourself at an Ashbourne event, don’t be afraid to ask the bartender for this showstopper of a beverage.

INGREDIENTS
1 Smoked ice cube, or regular ice cube
2 ounces Woodford Reserve
3/4 ounces Sweet Vermouth
3 Dashes Woodford Reserve’s Cherry Bitters
Woodford Bourbon Cherry, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS
To make smoked ice: Place water in a baking dish and smoke in your Green Egg, or smoker for 10-15 minutes. Transfer the smoked water into a large container to freeze as one large ice cube. Chip ice chunks from the block as needed.

To make the cocktail: Add a single large chunk of smoked ice to a lowball glass. Add 2 ounces of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, 3/4 ounces sweet vermouth and 3 dashes of Woodford Reserve’s Cherry Bitters. Stir lightly and garnish with a Woodford Bourbon Cherry.
